The Heidelberg Speedmaster is capable of handling the most demanding print jobs, from large heavy solids to fine screen work

Within the print shop there is a wealth of presses, all Heidelberg: one 10 x 15 letterpress platen, two GTO 46 single colour, one GTO 52 two-colour and the pride of our fleet... the four-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 with perfecting unit and ink temperature control.

The four-colour press is a magnificent machine: it can print four-colour straight at up to 15,000 sheets per hour, or two colours back two colours (perfecting). Sheet size is up to 740 x 530mm, with weights ranging from 40gsm airmail to 600 micron board. Full computer control provides superb colour accuracy and permits settings to be stored for future use.

All the litho presses have alcohol damping, and the GTOs all have full numbering and perforating facilities. The platen is used mainly for cutting and creasing, but is still occasionally inked up for the special work only it can do.

The two-colour GTO 52 press handles a B3 sheet for shorter runs of excellent quality
